Estate
of Nancy Ethel Kryder, 1981 In 1981, Glenn Bordner, specialist in federal income taxation, represented himself to Klaehn Funeral Home as the attorney for the Estate of Nancy Ethel Kryder, Frank Kryder's fourth wife.
Nancy Ethel had no children or relatives other than a niece in California, but the funeral home applied for and received a $255.00 Social Security Death Benefit which was posted to her account. This added to the amount transferred from a People's Trust Account overpaid the amount due. In 1982 refund check was delivered to Bordner who deposited the proceeds into his Trust Account in Fort Wayne National Bank. Check Checkmate As with the Estate of Edith Michels, and as custodian of the corporate records of The Kryder Company,Inc., Bordner is seen to have been a lawyer who could have done pretty much anything he wanted with "heirless" people's property without being accountable to the Court.
