11/02/1949 The Last Will and Testament of Clarence Kryder was drafted leaving his entire estate to Minnie V. Kryder. (Minnie was President of the Kryder Company , Inc. by virtue of her Ohio Farmers assets).This Will was made illegal by Clarence's attorney, Charles E. Dare not admitting it to Probate until more than four years after Clarence's death. Dare was recruited by Clarence and James I. Evans from the Indiana Secretary of State's office in 1932. He had been authoring the Corporation Laws of Indiana when the Fort Wayne investors convinced him to leave Indianapolis to come work in The Standard Building. Before the Will was filed, new stock and changes had been made in the status of the Kryder Company, Inc.. It is a mystery why one of the most legally correct minds in Indiana at the time would withhold the Will of Clarence Kryder until it was actually illegal. No estate was opened and when Minnie died in 1960 indeed she had been "funneled down to nothing." Clarence Frank Kryder died at home 4/02/1950. North American Properties, Inc., a "40 year" corporation was incorporated 11/02/1950 and expired 4/02/1990.
